What is Mockplus?
Mockplus is an all-in-one platform that caters to the needs of designers, developers, project managers, and other team members involved in product design. It consists of two main components: Mockplus RP (Rapid Prototyping) and Mockplus Cloud.
Mockplus RP
Mockplus RP is a free online prototyping tool introduced in February 2020, which was later separated from Mockplus Cloud in April 2022 to provide a standalone space for creating, editing, and managing prototypes.
- Prototyping: It allows users to design, collaborate, and present web, mobile, and desktop app prototypes without coding. The tool features drag-and-drop functionality, built-in templates, UI kits, and widget libraries to speed up the wireframing and prototyping process.

- Design Consistency: Mockplus RP helps maintain design consistency by allowing designers to save and reuse component styles and sync these libraries across the team.
Mockplus Cloud
Mockplus Cloud is a web-based collaboration platform that integrates seamlessly with Mockplus RP.
- Design Collaboration & Handoff: It streamlines design collaboration and handoff workflows, enabling teams to build and evolve consistent design systems. Users can create PRDs (Product Requirements Documents), conduct design reviews, hand off designs and prototypes, and automatically generate specs, assets, and code snippets.
- Project & Task Management: The platform offers full project and task management capabilities, allowing teams to manage projects efficiently. Features include creating and categorizing projects, inviting team members, setting roles and permissions, and archiving or favoriting projects.
- Design System Management: Mockplus Cloud allows teams to collect and manage design assets like colors, fonts, components, and style guides from various design tools, ensuring everyone speaks the same design language throughout the product design lifecycle.

- Auto & Manual Specs: Mockplus automatically generates design specs, and designers can also add custom specs using five markup tools in Review mode. This simplifies the design-to-development collaboration and handoff process.
- Real-Time Collaboration: Multiple users can work on the same project simultaneously, with features like real-time syncing and sharing of component or component style libraries.
- UI Flow & Navigation: The platform generates and exports UI flows to view logical relationships between pages and layouts. It also includes a navigation map to overview the workspace and quickly locate specific artboards or items.
